About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi, Some friends are coming from Spain to visit me for Xmas in Shanghai

but we are planning to go to HK fro Nee years. However they need to come back to Shanghai to take their flights and they would stay 3 days.. Can they apply for the free transit visa?

Maria, if they will enter from Hong Kong to Shanghai and then leave for a different country, and they hold Spainish passports, they can apply for the free transit.
