About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Going to China in April for 8 days but I ll go to the consulate in December 19th.

Should I select the multiple entries valid for 6 months from the date of issue or Two entries valid for 3 to 6 months from the date of issue??? The fee jumps from $45 to $60. What is the difference??

Titi, if you apply for it now, you need to apply for a 6-month multiple-entry one.
Usually, you are advised to apply for it one month prior to your trip because it is too early to apply if you will visit China in April. You mean you don’t hold US passport? If yes, the fee for double entries and multiple entries is different. The former can just allow you enter China twice within its validity; but the latter can allow you to enter and exit for multiple times within its validity.
