Best walk without very exposed or dangerous trails

Hi,
I will be in Xi'an at the end of december. I don't have problem to walk to much, but I don't like very exposed trails without security. What are the peaks that I can walk without problem taking the cable car? Is it better the cable car to the North Peak and down on the West Peak or the opposite?
Thank you!

You can take cable car to the North Peak and down on the West Peak or the opposite, but the opposite route is easier as the way is downhill. There are several dangerous paths, like plank walk, but they are optional, you can skip it if you are not interested. Or you may consider taking cable car to the West Peak and down from the West Peak, by taking this way, you can visit most of the peaks around without walking too much. Hope it helps.

Hi, I was reading another post saying that it's not worth go visit Mount Huashan in December. Is it for the hiking? Also going up with the cable car and walking on the paths up is not worth?
I'm in Xian and I'm in doubt if going there.
Thanks a lot.

The best time to visit Mt. Huashan is from April to October, but it is fine to do it in December apart from the cold weather. In my opinion, Mt. Huashan is one of the most popular destinations for travelers, if you like mountain and do not go back to Xian, you may visit it this time. It is a bit challengeable to hike the whole mountain and it needs at least two days to do it. If your time is limited, you are suggested to take cable car, which offers you a different perspective to view the mountain and also a chance to hike the most of the peaks a bit.
