Hi, I am planning to visit Harbin for 4 days( from 14th Jan 2017).

According to the previous records, the coldest time is usually in the mid of Jan. The temperature may range from -20F to -5F (-20C to -30C). You need to bring winter clothes to keep warm, such as down jackets, sweaters, long johns, snow boots, pants, scaves and gloves. :)

Thank you, that means when i m doing plan to go there mean mid of the january, i will get maximum cold,
another thing tht time i will get ice n snow world or not?

I heard the Ice and Snow World lasts from the late December to the early March. No worry! You can enjoy this festival in mid January.

Having just returned from Harbin, the temperature is negative 25 degrees centigrade. There is very little snow in the urban built up areas. There is very little to no snowing, having said that- the water surfaces are frozen and in the countryside there a lot of snow on the ground. I wore one piece thermal suit and that was adequate the keep the cold out. I also wore a cowboy boot made of leather and that too is adequate however the road are very slippery, so please bring along snow sharps for your boots so you won't slip and hurt yourself.
