About:Year of the Monkey

Born 12th August 1992. Will my ex and I get back together?

I have been dating my partner (ex partner now) for nearly 7 years. Something changed with him pretty much overnight and he needed time and space from me (avoiding basically all conversation). I decided to end things after 2 months of waiting as my heart could not take it any longer but i miss him so much. I don't understand what happened and i wish he could just speak to me. We were really happy together. I just want to know if we have a future together? we have not had this problem ever before.

With all due respect, you sound like one of us, who give up smoking, and needs to apply nicotine patches. After being with him for so many years, of course you like to see him. It is normal. Your natal stars make you to be easily hurt. The only problem there is, you have to be realistic. Since you did not provide his date of birth, I cannot comment on your compatibility with him. But whatever the case might be, you will eventually have to move on, not before you take some notes about where you went wrong with this relationship. If you don’t do that, you could end up doing the same mistake. You had some years now, with things, which went wrong, and you failed to appreciate a good advice from a close family member. Next year your luck will increase, and your health will be good. My advice to you is to move to another city. Good luck to you.

His date of birth is 15 June 1990. I would love to know if we have a future together?
See, the problem is he told me work was becoming overwhelming and needed time and space from me. I don't understand why he couldn't speak to me if i wasn't the problem. We looked at engagement rings a few months ago and we were fine..

Actually, you two are astrologically compatible, while he has that mercurial characteristic in him from his Gemini sun sign he has, and he cannot be pinned down. He is not yet mature enough to get married, while you are. Only the talk of engagement rings put him to flight. The explanation he gave you holds no water, and it is pure fibs. When one is in love, one believes all sorts of untrue explanations, and in this case you could be the one. Wait until the end of January 2017, and when the year of the Rooster starts, he may come to see things differently, and he may realize that he has just missed a big life-opportunity. You and him are very compatible in marriage. It sounds to me that he got scared when he heard about engagement rings, as he is not yet mature enough to tie the knot. My advice to you is either to wait for him one more year, or to move on with your life. Good luck to both of you.
