About:China Visa on Arrival

Hello. I am flying home from Denpasar, Indonesia, to San Francisco in February.

I have a layover in Beijing in the middle of the night, I do not plan leave the airport.
Do I need a Chinese entry permit just to be at the airport and make a connecting flight?
Thank you

Kendra, no, you don’t need it. You can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit there.

That is up to the immigration officer if you don't have a visa.
