Circus world / shanghai rail station

Hi,

We need to get to pudong international in the evening after the circus world show. What is the easiest way to get there late in the evening when the metro has shut please? We may need to store luggage at the rail station which may be an easier departure point.

I just checked that the last train leaves from the Circus World at 22:50 during Sunday and Thursday, 23:20 on other days. Will the show end that late? If not, subway surely is the best choice. Alternatively, use taxi. It is convenient to store the luggage at the rail station, but the last shuttle bus leaves for Pudong Airport at 21:30. Hope you can catch it!

I think the issue is that the last subway to the airport (line2) will not be that late-can anyone confirm that please?

The shuttle bus will be too early at 9.30 unfortunately. Any ideas on taxi time and cost please ?

Hi, dear! You can take metro line 1 from Circus World to SH Railway Station. After picking up your luggage, take metro line 1 to People's Square Station, and switch to metro line 2 to PVG. (or store the luggage in a hotel near the Circus World and you need to pay some)

The last subway departs from People's Square Station at 23:17 from Sunday to Thursday and 23:47 on Friday and Saturday.

The taxi fare may be around CNY 180 before 23:00 and around CNY 230 after 23:00. The trip takes about 50 minutes. :)

Hi frank, thanks again for your help & sorry for asking another question but I would rather not pay for a taxi so want to make sure the metro will work!

I agree with metro time leaving people's square but does it go as far as PVG - I read that it stops at Guanglan road after 10pm?

Dear Megan, the last train mentioned above only arrives at Guanglan Road, and it doesn't go to PVG. The last train to PVG departs from Guanglan Road at 22:00. If you don't want to take a taxi, maybe you should set off a little bit earlier. :)
