About:China Transit Visa

i'm Burmese.. traveling from Myanmar to America

I'm Myanmar passport holder and going to America from Myanmar.in case I have to transit in two cities of China ( Kunming & Jinan ). total time is less than 24 hours. I've to collect my baggage in airports.. so i need to leave from transit area to main place through immigration counter? Do I need to make visa for that.. please let me know..thank you so

You are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit if you travel like that. If you need to go through the immigration counter, you just need to apply for a free temporary stay permit after arriving at the airport. No need to apply for a transit G type.
