hi. i want to get the train from hong kong to shanghai on the 21st february 2017.

I am slightly confused as the website states that the train only leaves on even dates in February.  When I start to book a ticket, it looks like it will let me do it for the 21st.  Thank you very much.  Kind regards,Rupert

Dear Rupert, The trains to Shanghai depart on even dates in Feburary, 2017. I don't know why they are searchable on Feb. 21. But they are actually not available. I used the service of this site. Their train booking is ensuring.
