Marriage certificate attestation by China Embassy in India

Hi, If i have a marriage certificate which is not notarized by China embassy in India, am i be able to take my wife to china, i heard that the same attestation can be done at Beijing(or some other Indian embassy in china).
Since time is less so i want to take her and will do the marriage attestation there in China, is it possible?

No, I’m afraid the Indian embassy in China cannot notarize your marriage certificate if one of you is Chinese registering your marriage in India, and you want to get your marriage recognized in China now. You have to attest your marriage certificate at the Chinese embassy in India.
