About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hello i'm french with a french passport and a chinese VISA for 1 entry only

and i plan to Visit CHINA and VIETNAM.
i'm starting my trip with visiting Vietnam but i have a transit in shanghai 5 hours ..
is it possible to have a transit Visa and dont us my entry as i should come back and visit china ?

Just ask immigration to give you a 24-hour stay permit instead. They are flexible and will usually accommodate these requests.
