Hi, i am going to shanghai airport pvg about obly 20hrs.

Hi, i am going to shanghai airport pvg just to meet with my fiance from us, then in the same day, were both going to philippines. Like this, me arriving at pvg march 30 at midnight , my fiance will arrive march 31 in the afternoon, its likely im gonna stay in the airport for about 17-20 hrs. And around 12:30 midnight, we have a flight going to philippines. Same airplane and flight. Do i need a visa ir not if im only going to stay at the airport for about 17hrs? Thank you
