About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

we are two couples .Australian and British ,

we arrive in Beijing 26/4/2016 7 am leave 28/4/2016 by air 12 mid day, what if any Visa do we need

Mick, if the flight will fly to a third country or region rather than the last one you fly from, you can enjoy the 72 hour free transit in Beijing, and then no visa will be needed.

Hi Phil ,we arrive by cruise ship ,then fly bejing to Singapore then Brisbane

In that case, you cannot, since Beijing's 72-hour TWOV is only open to passengers arriving and departing by air.
