About:China Visa on Arrival

Hi I didn't know I needed a visa for China

I assumed it would be like Thailand you get an automatic 30 day visa I'm going to inspect a building that is being made for export for me there is there anything I can do I'm booked to fligh day after tomorrow ? Thanks

Keiran, sorry for that, but I’m afraid you may need to change your flight now, and then apply for a visa for China. Usually, it is not easy for travelers to get VOA in China.
Or may I know which city you will go? Maybe you can enjoy the free transit in the city if the free transit policy is carried there.

im flying into Shenyang I have just booked a ticket to south korea so I ca get the 72 hour visa hopefully I can go to the embasy and get a visa there before the 72 hour runs out

Well, if you are travelling under the TWOV rule then you are generally not eligible to apply for a visa or extend your stay while in China. If you need to stay longer than 72 hours, then you'll need a visa before arrival.
