I want to visit china to visit my friend from india

Please tell me which visa will be good to travel and visit my friend. Do I need an invitation letter and how much it will cost.

Sameer, a tourist L type is ok for you to visit to your friend. You can ask for an invitation letter from your friend, and then the round trip air tickets and hotel reservation won’t be needed any more.
A single-entry tourist L type costs 4,987 rupees per person.
