About:China Visa

Renew my chinese visa

i am a malaysian and currently staying in China with a tourist L type and wanted to apply for a residence permit. Can i do that in Hong kong or Macau as my multiple entry permit expiring soon. How to do that?

Steven, you cannot apply for the residence permit if you stay in China with a tourist L type.
If your tourist will expire, maybe you can go to HK or Macau to re-apply for a new tourist L type but I cannot assure if it will work if you don’t have HK or Macau residence permit.
