About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I will be staying in Shanghai Sunday

5:00 am to Monday 11:45 pm and a few weeks later return to Hong Kong for a 3 day stay.....do I need a Chinese Visa

Boris, what I'm sure is that you don't need the entry permit for HK. For the stay in Shanghai, if you enter Shanghai from a country and then leave for a different country, you may qualify for the free transit policy. In this case, the entry permit for Shanghai is not required either.
