monkey's career on hold, prospects for 2017??

Question

My 60 year old husband was born November 13, 1956 at 8:00pm, year of the monkey. Last July, he was laid off from his job after 30 years at the same company. He has been struggling to find a permanent job since and we think it's due to his age. It didn't help that 2016 was not an auspicious year for monkeys. With college bound children in the coming years, we are getting nervous. We would like to know his job prospects, finance and health for the near future and 2017.

Julie, if it is hard to get employed, maybe you can consider opening a convenience store by yourselves. Not only can he feel fulfilled, the store can also bring in income. The health condition is quite good in the next year, but a regular health check is still needed.
