How do I go from Guangzhou hakka apartment to baiyun airport by 8am on Sunday?

we have 7 adults, should we take bus or subway, which is fastest?

By bus: walk east for abou 800 yards to Hilbin Hotel. Then, take shuttle bus line 5 to the airport. The first bus departs at 6:30. The trip takes about 1 hour, and the fare is CNY 21.

By subway: walk northwest for about 900 yards to Gongyuanqian Subway Station. Then, take subway line 2 to Jiahewanggang Station, and switch to subway line 3 to CAN. The first train departs at 6:10. The trip takes about 40 minutes, and the fare is CNY 7.
