About:China Visa on Arrival

VOA for French passport holders

Hi there,

I have to travel to China for a fast-visit, I am travelling with a French Passport.
Do I need a visa ? Is it possible to apply at the Airport for a Visa on Arrival ? Maybe Hong Kong?

Thanks for your feedback
Amine

Amine, sorry you can't get the VOA. However, if you meet the all the requirements, it's possible to use the free transit policy.

France-China-third country (e.g., Japan or HK)-France, or France-third country-China-France. You can only visit specified areas under the policy, however, so if you are visiting cities outside the region or stay longer than 72/144 hours then you'll need a visa.
