About:Hong Kong International Airport

Hi, Appreciate advise of the transportation from HKIA to butterfly on Waterfront Boutique Hotel.

Thought of the economical option but I am bringing with me my 2 boys of age 3 and 2 years old.

What would be the best transportation I should opt for to visit all the places of interests within HK? I will be staying at this hotel which I realized a bit far from all those places. Would rental car be the best option?

Take bus line A10 from Airport (GTC) Station to Connaught Garden, Connaught Road West Station. The fare is HKD 48, and the trip takes about 50 minutes. Upon arrival, walk east for about 400 yards to the hotel. Considering that you will travel with two boys, you may rent a car to get around. It will be very convenient for you.

By the way, public transport is an economical option. You can easily get to attractions by public transport, such as Tsim Sha Tsui, Causeway Bay, and Ocean Park. The Standard Octopus Card is recommended to you. It is applicable on MTR, buses, ferries, trams, and taxis. To get a Standard Octopus Card, each adult pays HKD 50 as the deposit, and HKD 100 as the stored value. Your child aged 3 pays HKD 50 as the deposit, and HKD 20 as the stored value. He pays half price on most public transport. The child aged 2 needs no card, and he can ride free.

Just choose the way you like. May you have a wonderful trip!
