I just called the Fangzhicheng Bus Station and was told that there are daily direct shuttle buses between Xian and Hukou Waterfall. The bus from Fangzhicheng Bus Station to Hukou is available at 8:00 in the morning, 13:20 and 14:10 in the afternoon, the bus returns to Xian at 8:00 in the morning and 13:00 in the afternoon.

From Longhai Hotel, you can take subway line 1 at Wulukou Station and get off at Fangzhicheng Station, then walk for few minutes to the bus station.

Thank you Jennifer for the information. I would just like to confirm with you that there is only 2 time slots for the direct shuttle to the Fangzhicheng bus station. I will take the 8am bus to the waterfall , but I would not be able to make it for the 1pm bus. Thus, the only way for me to go back to Xi An is to take the shuttle bus to Yichuan then take another bus back to Fangzhicheng bus station?

Also, may I know what time is the last bus from Yichuan back to Fangzhicheng bus station?

Yes. There are only two direct shuttle buses to Fangzhicheng Bus Station from Hukou. If you can not catch that bus, you may take a taxi or charter a car with other travelers to Yichuan first (around one hour), then catch the bus bound for Xian at around 17-17:30 in the afternoon.
