About:China Student Visa

No longer a student

Hi, I'm no longer a student in China, but I still have two more years on my student Visa. Is it possible for me to still come to China for a short stay, say two weeks, with my existing student X type?

No, I’m afraid not. Once you quit your study, your residence permit will be cancelled and the student X type cannot be used any more. You need to re-apply for a new entry permit to visit China.

How can I tell that my Visa or Residence Permit has been voided? There are no lines or stamps over them.
