You should first prepare the relevant materials including your residence permit in Japan, the application form affixed with a recently-taken passport-style photo, your passport and its copy, round trip air tickets and hotel booking record. Next, submit the application to the CVASC in Nagoya to apply for Chinese tourist L type entry permit.
