Its my first time to go out of the country, but my trip in China is sponsored, will it be an issue?

Our supplier, have sponsored the management team of our company to visit their China office. Documents like invitation, booked hotel accommodation, plane bookings back & forth, affidavit of support. travel itinerary have been submitted, same docs my colleagues have submitted. I was just wondering I was the only one scheduled for an interview and was asked to bring proof of company-supplier relationship, 6mos payslips, business registration of my employer. Is it because I'm a first timer in going out of the country? Our trip is set this week..im afraid i cant join the team anymore.
