Chengdu, Jiuzhaighou and Huanglong

We plan to go to Chengdu in September. If we want to go to Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong, can we go by our own or join the local ground tour? Which one is better?

There are many regular shuttle buses avaiable between Chengdu and Jiuzhaigou, which is quite convenient for you to take it on your own. However, if this is your first time to travel to China, I would suggest you join in a guided trip to avoid any trouble or misunderstanding during the visit.
