which train to take?

Question

I will be arriving Hongqiao airport from Hong Kong at 1650pm. Given that I will need to pick up my luggage, how much time will I need in order to connect to the train to Suzhou? Also, if I buy the ticket online, where will I need to go to pick up the ticket? Thanks!

Usually it may takes about 1 hour for the luggage and immigration check etc. It would be better if you leave about another 1 hour for the ticket collection for the rail trip as well in case there is a long waiting line. You need to pick up the ticket at the ticket counter in the railway station (the machine cannot work).
