About:Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding

We are a family of 3 including my wife and 8 year old son. Will be visiting Dujiangyan on 28 Dec.

Can we take a family photo with Panda?
We have a flight to catch at 18.45. Is it possible to visit Dujiangyan from hotel in Chengdu and go directly to airport? How much the taxi will charge?
How much a taxi cost to take us to Chengdu Tibet Hotel? Is it safe to take a taxi at night?

1. Yes, you can take photos with pandas, but you need to make a reservation in advance and it is quite expensive.
2. It is possible but time is a little tight. You'd better get up early that morning. There are direct shuttle buses from Dujiangyan Coach Center to Shuangliu airport; ticket price is about CNY25 per person. If by taxi, it takes about CNY 250-300.
3. You mean from airport to Tibet Hotel? The taxi fare is about CNY70.
