Wuzhishan for 1 day and 1 night (Dec 17-18 2016)

Thanks for all the great information on your "Sunny Sanya" website!

I have some questions about climbing Wuzhi Mountain. I will be arriving at Sanya airport by noon on Saturday, December 17. I would like to
- take the bus to Wuzhishan,
- stay in a cheap Wuzhishan hotel the night of December 17,
- climb Wuzhi Mountain, starting early in the morning on Sunday, December 18, then
- take a bus back to arrive at Sanya airport by nightfall on December 18.

Does this sound like a good plan? Can you recommend any local guides? Also, I read a report that the park is closed to foreigners, so I might not be able to climb the mountain after all -- is this true?
