wuzhishan for 1 day1 night (dec 17-18 2016)

Thanks for all the great information on your Sunny Sanya website! I have some questions about climbing Wuzhi Mountain.  I will be arriving at Sanya airport by noon on Saturday, December 17.  I would like to- take the bus to Wuzhishan,- stay in a cheap Wuzhishan hotel the night of December 17,- climb Wuzhi Mountain, starting early in the morning on Sunday, December 18, then- take a bus back to arrive at Sanya airport by nightfall on December 18.Does this sound like a good plan?  Can you recommend any local guides?  Also, I read a report that the park is closed to foreigners, so I might not be able to climb the mountain after all -- is this true? Thank you!

As far as I know, there are two separate sight spots in Wuzhishan Scenic Area, one is Rain Forest Nature Park and the other is Wuzhishan National Nature Reserve. Visitors can see the Five Finger Mountain from a distance at Rain Forest Nature Park and climb the mountain in the Wuzhishan National Nature Reserve. However, foreign travelers are not allowed to go into Wuzhishan National Nature Reserve, so you are not able to climb the mountain.
