About:China Work Visa

I recently got a slap on the wrist for traveling to Thailand while on a Z visa

because when you return you're supposed to report to the police agency within 24 hours to give an explanation.

I'd just like to know if anyone has the details on the restrictions and provisions of traveling outside the country with a Z type if you plan on returning to China.

John, as far as I know, if you have the residence permit on a work Z type, you can just travel outside and then go back. There is no any restrictions and provisions.
