and now own a visitor L entry permit what is the process to switch from tourist to Z do I need to redo all the necessary steps to have the visa itself or since it was done a few months before we can only had the needed documents to the Z application? Sincerely, Ariane Besozzi

Ariane, if you have prepared all the required documents for work Z type including your passport, the application form, a half-length color photo, valid registration form of temporary residence, work permit and invitation letter of a duly authorized unit. You can submit the application to the exit and entry department of the local public security bureau to convert the L type to Z type.
