About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

14 hours of transit time

I'm flying from Bangkok > Beijing > LAX with a 14 hr stop in Beijing. Do I need a visa for to explore Beijing for 14 hours? Or just my passport?

You are eligible for the 24h transit and have to apply for a temporary entry permit at the immigration.
No need for a visa.
You need your passport and your confirmed flight ticket to LAX.
