Hong Kong - Is Light Rail the same as MTR?

On the 1 day tourist pass, it said unlimited use of MTR and Light Rail. what is the different between MTR and Light Rail?

They are different. Light Rail is in the northwest of New Territories.

MTR, or Mass Transit Railway, covers the whole HK. It consists of nine urban lines, one Airport Express line, one Light Rail system with 12 routes serving the northwest New Territories, and one tourist cable car system Ngong Ping 360.

That is to say, MTR includes Light Rail. :)
