Multiple 72 hr visa usuage

Hello,
I will be flying from Taipei to Wuhan, staying in Wuhan for 3 days and then off to Hong Kong for 2 days. Then from Hong Kong to chengdu with an overnight layover 12 hrs. Then to hangzhou layover for 3 hrs then off to lax. Will I be able to use the 72 hour free transit policy multiple times and will this be acceptable given my overnight in chengdu and transit to Hanggzhou to get back to lax
