About:China Flight

What is customs procedure in Beijing?

I am flying from San Franscico to Beijing and then to Chengdu. When do I go through customs? Do I need to collect my checked luggage in Beijing?

You should go though the customs in Beijing Airport. Usually you need to collect the checked luggage by yourself. If the two flights are offered by the same airlines, you may contact the airline if they can arrange the luggage directly from USA to Chengdu.
