About:Visa Policy of China

A model friend of mine is holding Australian passport but based in Singapore.

She is invited to work in China for 2 months and need to apply work visa in Singapore. The Letter of Invitation from China is addressed to Sydney which she is not flying to Sydney to apply work entry permit, and she was told that the letter could not be addressed to Singapore because she is Australian. Is there any other way she could still apply work entry permit in Singapore?

Varien, she can try to apply for the work Z type entry permit in Singapore with that invitation, but if it cannot succeed, I’m afraid she needs to go back to Australia for the application.
