About:China Customs Declaration

Declare of money during in a transit? Is it necessary to declare the currency during a transit?

Is there any charges for declaring of currency?
Please advise. Thanks

Judy, if you take cash which values more than CNY20,000 or USD5,000, you still need to make a declaration and show the permit for bringing large amount of cash at the customs. Or, there will be a fine.
