About:Best Time to Visit China
Would it be better to go to China (Shanghai, Suzhou, Hong Kong, Hangzhou, Huangshan) in Jan or Feb?

Helen, to be honest, it will be cold in the two months. If it is possible to change the schedule, you are suggested to go to these cities during March~May, as the weather is neither too cold nor too hot in this period and you can have a good view of the spring scenes.0
