hi, we're visiting huangshan this december.

Question

We're arriving at noon and planning to stay in HS International hotel. Then the next day we're planning to go to the mountain and stay for one night there. How far is it from the International Hotel to the cable car station? I heard there's three routes of cable cars to the mountain. Which routes do you recommend? And how to get to Baiyun hotel by cable car? Thanks!

The International Hotel is located in Huangshan downtown area (Tunxi), it takes around one hour to drive from Tunxi to Yellow Mountain (Tangkou). There are three routes of cable cars to the mountain. I would recommend you ascend and descend the mountain by Cloud Valley Cableway. If you are active and fond of climbing, then you may also take Cloud Valley Cableway up and Jade Screen down from the mountain as the road there is more challenging. By the way, it takes about two hours to walk from Baiyun Hotel to these two cable car station respectively.
