About:China Visa Exemption

Do Malaysia Passport Holder Required Visa for transit in Shanghai Airport for more than 24 hours

Due to changes of flight schedule, the transit hours changed from previously 5 hours to additonal 1 extra day. Thanks.

GB, if your transit time in China is more than 24 hours, you need to apply for a transit G type entry permit ahead of your trip.
