About:Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Gorge)

Is it possible to do the trek at Tiger Leaping Gorge in winter?

I plan to travel to TLG with my husband in the first week of February 2017 during Chinese New Year.
We are aware that there may be a lot of tourists at this time but we are more concerned about accessibility because of the cold.

Yes, you can go trekking at the gorge in winter. It may be cloudy and rain or snow lightly sometimes. The temperature may range from 20F to 40F. It is quite cold. You should pack down jackets, sweaters, thermal underwear, warm pants, boots, scarves, gloves, and raincoats. Keep warm and have fun!
