About:Ngong Ping 360

Can I take a bus from Tung Chung MTR station to Ngong Ping Village?

Hi,

14th to 22nd November, the cable car to Ngong Ping will be under repair. Can we take a bus from Tung Chung MTR station to Ngong Ping Village? Plse let us know the Bus No. and where to take and how long does it takes to reach there on a weekday?

Well, the cable car will closed for maintenance from November 14 to 21, 2016. You can take bus line 23 from Tung Chung Town Center Station to Ngong Ping Station, and you can see the village. The fare is HKD 17.2, and the trip takes about 50 minutes. :)

can i ask a question? do you, by any chance, know what's the exact date of the official announcement for the closed down under repair for ngong ping cable? the reason i ask is i bought a ticket from a travel agency earlier last month (planned on travel there on today 14th nov) and they don't notify me about this repair

Hi, dear! I saw the announcement on the official website. It says that the cable car will be closed temporarily for scheduled maintenance from 14 to 21 November 2016. Cable Car service will resume on 22 November 2016. ;)
