Ferry from Guangzhou Lianhuashan to hkia

Any one took this route??. I am planning to take this route in the coming days. I got a free shutle from downtown to the port by the ferry co.
Whoever took this route please give me an idea about the steps to take in Lianhuashan port

I took the ferry in May. The ferries depart at 9:10, 13:50, and 16:20. An economical class costs CNY 300; a first class costs CNY 350; a VIP class costs CNY 400. Here are the procedures:

Step 1: purchase the ferry ticket at Lianhuashan Port and get register, then take the ferry directly to Hong Kong Airport.
Step 2: When arrive at SkyPier, HKIA, remember to take your luggage and check in them on the opposite counters. (Passengers can ignore this step if you have already check-in at Lianhuashan Port).
Step 3: Go through the security and obtain your departure tax refund at the Departure Tax Refund Desk.
Step 4: Take 2 Minutes free MTR to the Boarding Gate.

You should arrive at the port at least 1 hour prior to departure time. You should reserve at least 220 minutes between ferry departure and flight departure time. Good luck!

Lee, thanks alot. I did take the ferry ride. It was pleasent and smooth. I would recommend this transport for any one in GZ and wants to go direct to HKIA. Not only that there is a free shuttle from the garden hotel to the port.
