About:How to Apply for a China Visa

renew my friends' chinese visa

My Dutch friend just stayed around 45 days in China, he held a tourist entry permit for 60 days, one entry, which will expire on 11/11/2016. Now he is back to the netherlands and apply for another entry permit to stay for two months more in china. Can he apply for tourist L type again? will it succeed? since his last one hasn't expired..
How many times can europeans renew their tourist L type now? Will it be eaiser in HK?

Serena, he can apply for the tourist L type again even though the last one hasn’t expired. It may succeed, but I cannot tell you for certain.
There is no requirement for how many times Europeans can renew the tourist L type. If they don’t have HK residence permit, I’m afraid it will be difficult to renew it in HK.

If the invitation letter is issued by a unit or entity, I think he can apply for the business M type, but if it is issued by an individual, I’m afraid he can only apply for a tourist L type.
