About:Songzanlin Monastery

How can I go to Songzanlin Monastery from old town with Public transportation?

If I don't want to take a taxi to the monastery, It has others way to go there.

I wonder if you refer to the Dukezong Ancient Town. If so, the distance to the monastery is no more than 6.5km, and taxi is the best way to go, which shall only cost CNY20-30. By public transportation, take bus no. 3 at the Yueguang Square, and it will directly lead you to the monastery.
