Flight change, Will I still be able to get my visa upon arrival in Shanghai?

Hi all,

I'll fly from Sydney to Shanghai, and three days later to Amsterdam so I must be able to receive the visa upon arrival. However, when I travel to Shanghai I have a 1.5 hour stop over in Guangzhou where I have to change planes.

Well, it's a pity that the layover in Guangzhou will make you ineligible for the 72 or 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. You had better take a direct flight to Shanghai.
