Must I buy Ngong Ping 360 cable car return ticket or there is other alternative way back?

No, you don't need to pay the cable car return tickets.
You can take bus no.15 from the Peak.
For bus no.15, the operating hours are from 09:10 to 01:00 next day at intervals of 7 to 15 minutes. And the ticket fare is HK$ 9.80 per person.1
