About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am an American residing in Korea.

I have a trip to China booked (less than 72 hours). I plan on leaving from Seoul to China then coming back to Seoul. Do I need a visa or does that qualify for the 72 hour transit?

You need an entry permit for this trip as you can´t return to the country of origin if yo uwanna use the 72h twov.
