About:Prohibited Items

I'm traveling to china for a month and need certain diet items

Can I take a large bag of sealed almonds for my consumption and also a large sealed bag of beef jerky for my consumption? We are flying in from japan and arriving into hong kong, then taking a train into china

C, you can take almonds but declaration even quarantine is necessary. Beef jerky belongs to prohibited items, and they are not allowed to pass the customs. You should not take it.
