About:China Tourist Visa

Can I apply the visa by mailing my application in?

Or I have to apply in person or through travel agency?
Also, if I am going to join a tour in China, what kind of documents do I need from the tour company?

Peggy, you cannot mail your application to apply for it.
You can submit in person, or through a travel agency, or you can ask your friend to submit it for you.
You can ask the tour company to issue an invitation letter to you, and then you may not need to provide flight itinerary and hotel reservation.
